If the Word is the foundation and the path its direction, then the walker’s motivation must be Christ Himself — Lord and Saviour. Self-examination, therefore, is not comparison with others, but reflection before Him. I am to examine myself in the light of Christ alone, allowing His character to shape what is formed in me — by grace, through faith.
But salvation is by grace through faith in God, not in a human being. Christ, the Son of man, must always be glorified and respected as the One who laid down His life on the Cross.
Because, there is no book, nor sermon, nor Psalm which can remove the stain of the sin, but the blood of the Lamb.
The Logos, Jesus Christ, translated from eternity into time, opened heaven from the inside. Therefore, when He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6, KJV), Jesus was declaring a reality that had already happened and, at the same time, proclaiming the possibility of entering heaven by acknowledging that He is the incarnate Logos and Truth.
When wisdom grows heavy—looking into the heart, in the darkest depths; He who gives generously, the print, the presence, the protection, and the purpose—in solitude we are vulnerable, but God’s grace is sufficient. Then, solitude becomes desirable more and more, isolating us from the simple into the four-dimensional, Christ-centred presence. Solitude with God is comforting, and out of it, others are discipled to know God.
