Discerning to Digest – The Character of Wisdom and the Heart of the Speaker

Posted on 16/08/202615/08/2026 by Ruben Gavriliuc

There is a misplaced fear which produces anxiety and unrealistic expectations of what the world could become. Humanity has lost its compass and purpose, not because it is facing so many innovations requiring adaptations to be made to the physical and the legal infrastructure. I would rather advocate for the loss of constancy and absolutes.
On the contrary, we learn from the Bible that God is eternally unchanged in his pure character. This makes God reliable and trustworthy, so we know what to expect in different life situations.

Discerning to Digest – Insourcing Wisdom in a World That Feeds You Answers

Posted on 08/08/202611/08/2026 by Ruben Gavriliuc

Slipping On The Right Side – When Eloquence Falls Short

Posted on 17/03/202616/03/2026 by Ruben Gavriliuc

The Scriptures were never given merely to be studied as an intellectual or memory exercise, but to lead the reader to the Saviour they testify about. Apollos knew the Scriptures and spoke with eloquence, yet he still needed to understand more perfectly the way of God. Only when Christ Himself stands at the centre does knowledge become complete. True maturity in the knowledge of Scripture leads to a Christ-centred eloquence, for in Him “are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

My Way and Thy Word – The Contrast in The Mirror

Posted on 03/03/202603/03/2026 by Ruben Gavriliuc

If the Word is the foundation and the path its direction, then the walker’s motivation must be Christ Himself — Lord and Saviour. Self-examination, therefore, is not comparison with others, but reflection before Him. I am to examine myself in the light of Christ alone, allowing His character to shape what is formed in me — by grace, through faith.
